Cinna-bun Cake in the oven!

Instructions

  1. Preheat Oven: Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9×13-inch baking pan.
  2. Prepare the Cake Batter:
    • In a large bowl, mix the flour, sugar, baking powder, and salt.
    • Add the milk, eggs, vanilla extract, and melted butter. Stir until smooth and well combined.
    • Pour the batter into the prepared baking pan.
  3. Make the Cinnamon Swirl:
    • In a separate bowl, combine the softened butter, brown sugar, flour, and cinnamon until well mixed.
    • Drop spoonfuls of this mixture evenly over the cake batter in the pan.
    • Use a knife to swirl the cinnamon mixture into the batter, creating a marbled effect.
  4. Bake:
    • Place the pan in the preheated oven and bake for 30–35 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
  5. Prepare the Glaze:
    • While the cake is baking, whisk together powdered sugar, milk, and vanilla extract until smooth.
  6. Finish the Cake:
    • When the cake is done baking, remove it from the oven and pour the glaze over the hot cake.
    • Let it sit for a few minutes to allow the glaze to soak in, then serve warm
