Instructions

  1. Preheat Oven: Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a 9×13-inch baking dish.
  2. Prepare the Chicken:
    • Season each chicken breast with salt, pepper, garlic powder, onion powder, and paprika.
    • In a skillet over medium heat, add the olive oil or melted butter and sear the chicken for 2-3 minutes on each side until golden brown.
  3. Prepare the Sauce:
    • In a bowl, mix the cream of chicken soup with milk, stirring until smooth.
  4. Assemble the Dish:
    • Place the seared chicken breasts in the prepared baking dish.
    • Layer the fresh broccoli florets over the chicken.
    • Pour the soup mixture evenly over the chicken and broccoli.
    • Sprinkle shredded cheddar cheese generously on top.
  5. Bake:
    • Cover the dish with foil and bake for 25 minutes.
    • Remove the foil and bake for an additional 10-15 minutes, or until the cheese is melted, bubbly, and the chicken is cooked through.
