- Preheat Oven: Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a 9×13-inch baking dish.
- Prepare the Chicken:
- Season each chicken breast with salt, pepper, garlic powder, onion powder, and paprika.
- In a skillet over medium heat, add the olive oil or melted butter and sear the chicken for 2-3 minutes on each side until golden brown.
- Prepare the Sauce:
- In a bowl, mix the cream of chicken soup with milk, stirring until smooth.
- Assemble the Dish:
- Place the seared chicken breasts in the prepared baking dish.
- Layer the fresh broccoli florets over the chicken.
- Pour the soup mixture evenly over the chicken and broccoli.
- Sprinkle shredded cheddar cheese generously on top.
- Bake:
- Cover the dish with foil and bake for 25 minutes.
- Remove the foil and bake for an additional 10-15 minutes, or until the cheese is melted, bubbly, and the chicken is cooked through.
- Serve:
- Let the dish rest for a few minutes before serving. Enjoy it with rice, mashed potatoes, or your favorite side!
