CROCK POT CHEESY CHICKEN TATER TOT CASSEROLE

Instructions

  1. Prepare the Crock Pot:
    • Spray the inside of your crock pot with non-stick cooking spray.
  2. Layer the Ingredients:
    • Spread half of the frozen tater tots on the bottom of the crock pot.
    • Layer half of the cooked chicken over the tater tots, then sprinkle with 1 cup of shredded cheese.
  3. Make the Sauce:
    • In a mixing bowl, whisk together the cream of chicken soup, milk, sour cream, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper until smooth.
  4. Assemble the Casserole:
    • Pour half of the sauce over the first layer in the crock pot.
    • Add the remaining tater tots and chicken, then pour the rest of the sauce over the top.
    • Sprinkle the remaining 1 cup of cheese and bacon bits (if using) on top.
  5. Cook:
    • Cover and cook on low for 4-5 hours or high for 2-3 hours, until the cheese is melted, and the casserole is heated through.
  6. Garnish and Serve:
    • Garnish with sliced green onions if desired, and serve warm!
