Instructions
- Prepare the Crock Pot:
- Spray the inside of your crock pot with non-stick cooking spray.
- Layer the Ingredients:
- Spread half of the frozen tater tots on the bottom of the crock pot.
- Layer half of the cooked chicken over the tater tots, then sprinkle with 1 cup of shredded cheese.
- Make the Sauce:
- In a mixing bowl, whisk together the cream of chicken soup, milk, sour cream, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper until smooth.
- Assemble the Casserole:
- Pour half of the sauce over the first layer in the crock pot.
- Add the remaining tater tots and chicken, then pour the rest of the sauce over the top.
- Sprinkle the remaining 1 cup of cheese and bacon bits (if using) on top.
- Cook:
- Cover and cook on low for 4-5 hours or high for 2-3 hours, until the cheese is melted, and the casserole is heated through.
- Garnish and Serve:
- Garnish with sliced green onions if desired, and serve warm!
