HOT FUDGE PIE

Instructions

1. Preheat the Oven

  • Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).

2. Make the Fudge Filling

  • In a mixing bowl, combine the melted butter and sugar, mixing well.
  • Add the flour, cocoa powder, eggs, vanilla extract, and salt to the butter-sugar mixture. Stir until smooth and well combined.

3. Prepare the Pie Crust

  • Place the unbaked pie crust into a 9-inch pie pan. Crimp the edges as desired.

4. Add the Filling

  • Pour the fudge filling into the prepared pie crust, spreading it evenly.

5. Bake

  • Bake in the preheated oven for 25-30 minutes, or until the edges are set but the center is still slightly jiggly.
  • Let the pie cool for about 10 minutes to allow the filling to set slightly.

6. Serve

  • Serve warm with a scoop of vanilla ice cream or a dollop of whipped cream.
