-What you’ll need:
Your oven manual (available online in case you lose it)
Screwdriver
Clean towel or sheet (not your best)
½ cup baking soda (3.5 oz/100 g)
Water
Small or medium-sized bowl
Microfiber fabric
Razor blade (optional)
A helping hand
-Detailed steps:
1. Open the oven door and check the screws. Many ovens use star-shaped screws; if necessary, get a star-shaped screwdriver from a hardware store.
2. Place a towel on the kitchen floor for protection.
3- Refer to your oven manual for instructions on how to remove the oven door.
4- Ask someone to help you remove the door; it’s heavier than you think, so don’t try to do it alone.
5. Place the door on a towel or sheet with the inside window facing up.
6- Remove the door screws; there are usually two on the window and possibly two more at the bottom of the door, depending on the model of your oven.
7- Split the door in half, with the inner glass facing up.
8- Follow the instructions in the “How to clean the inside of the oven window” section above.
With help, reassemble the oven door and put it back in place.
