1. Get a bottle that has a spray diffuser attached to it. This will make it easier to apply the repellent.
2. Pour 4 fl oz of vinegar into the bottle.
3. Add 0.8 fl oz of essential oil containing mint to the bottle. The mint essential oil will help repel insects due to its strong scent.
4. Finally, pour 4 fl oz of vegetable oil into the bottle. The vegetable oil will act as a carrier for the essential oil and help spread the repellent evenly.
5. Close the bottle tightly and shake it well to mix all the ingredients together.
6. The natural repellent is now ready to use. You can spray around your kitchen regularly to keep ants out of your fruit bowl, or from crawling up cupboards and surfaces.
7. Shake the bottle before each use to ensure the ingredients are well mixed.
