My Granddaddy’s Favorite German Potato Pancakes, Inexpensive And Extremely Delicious.. 😋😋

Ingredients:

🔸 1 small onion

🔸 1 pound potatoes

🔸 1 medium-sized egg

🔸 3 tbsp flour

🔸 1 pinch pepper

🔸 1 pinch salt

🔸 Oil for frying

Methods:

1️⃣ Grate Ingredients: Using a box grater or food processor, grate the onions and potatoes into fine shreds.

2️⃣ Prepare Batter: In a mixing bowl, beat the egg. Add the grated onions, potatoes, flour, pepper, and salt. Stir the mixture well until everything is evenly combined.

3️⃣ Heat Oil: Pour enough oil into a large frying pan to cover the bottom and heat it over medium heat.

4️⃣ Form Pancakes: Measure the mixture using a 1/4 cup measure to scoop it into the hot oil. Gently flatten the mixture with the back of the scoop or a spatula to form a pie shape.

5️⃣ Fry: Let each pancake fry for about 3 minutes on each side, or until they turn a deep golden brown.

6️⃣ Repeat: Continue with the remaining potato mixture, adding more oil to the pan as needed.
