One-Pot Chicken Parmesan Pasta

Instructions

1. Cook the Chicken

  • Heat the olive oil in a large pot or deep skillet over medium heat.
  • Add the chicken pieces to the pot, seasoning with salt, pepper, onion powder, and Italian seasoning. Cook for 5-6 minutes until the chicken is browned on all sides but not fully cooked through.
  • Add the minced garlic and sauté for another 30 seconds, until fragrant.

2. Add the Liquids and Pasta

  • Pour in the chicken broth and marinara sauce, stirring to combine.
  • Add the pasta to the pot and stir everything together.
  • Bring the mixture to a boil, then reduce the heat to low and cover the pot. Simmer for 15-20 minutes, stirring occasionally, until the pasta is tender and the chicken is fully cooked.

3. Add the Cheese

  • Once the pasta is cooked, remove the pot from the heat and stir in the Parmesan cheese.
  • Sprinkle the mozzarella cheese evenly over the top. Cover the pot and let the cheese melt for about 3-5 minutes, until gooey and fully melted.

4. Serve

  • Garnish with fresh basil or parsley if desired.
  • Serve hot with garlic bread or a side salad for a complete meal.
