Ranch-Parmesan Chicken

Instructions

1. Preheat the Oven

  • Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C). Grease a baking dish or line it with parchment paper.

2. Prepare the Chicken

  • Pat the chicken breasts dry with paper towels.
  • Season both sides of the chicken with a little salt and pepper.

3. Make the Parmesan Coating

  • In a shallow bowl, combine ½ cup Parmesan cheese, panko breadcrumbs, garlic powder, onion powder, and dried parsley.

4. Coat the Chicken

  • Place the ranch dressing in a separate shallow bowl.
  • Dip each chicken breast into the ranch dressing, ensuring it’s well-coated.
  • Dredge the chicken in the Parmesan-panko mixture, pressing gently to adhere the coating.

5. Bake the Chicken

  • Place the coated chicken breasts in the prepared baking dish.
  • Sprinkle the remaining ½ cup Parmesan cheese evenly over the chicken.
  • Lightly spray the tops of the chicken with cooking spray or drizzle with a little olive oil for extra crispiness.

6. Cook

  • Bake in the preheated oven for 20-25 minutes, or until the chicken reaches an internal temperature of 165°F (74°C) and the crust is golden brown.

7. Serve

  • Let the chicken rest for a few minutes before serving. Garnish with extra fresh parsley, if desired.
