Instructions

1. Prepare the Salmon Mixture

  • In a large mixing bowl, add the drained salmon and flake it with a fork.
  • Add the diced onion, breadcrumbs, eggs, mayonnaise, mustard, lemon juice, Old Bay seasoning, garlic powder, salt, and pepper.
  • Mix well until everything is fully combined and the mixture holds together.

2. Form the Patties

  • Shape the salmon mixture into 8-10 patties, about ½-inch thick.

3. Heat the Oil

  • Heat the vegetable oil in a large skillet over medium heat.

4. Fry the Salmon Patties

  • Place the salmon patties into the skillet and cook for 3-4 minutes on each side, or until golden brown and crispy.
  • Transfer the patties to a plate lined with paper towels to drain excess oil.

5. Serve
