  • 1. Preheat the Oven
  • Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Lightly grease a 9×13-inch baking dish and set it aside.
  • 2. Cook the Pasta
  • Cook the pasta according to the package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.
  • 3. Cook the Ground Beef
  • In a large skillet, cook the ground beef over medium heat until browned, breaking it apart as it cooks.
  • Add the onion and garlic to the skillet, and sauté until the onion is soft and translucent, about 3-4 minutes.
  • Drain any excess fat from the skillet.
  • 4. Prepare the Sauce
  • Stir in the tomato sauce, diced tomatoes, Italian seasoning, paprika, salt, and black pepper.
  • Simmer for about 5 minutes, allowing the flavors to meld together.
  • 5. Assemble the Casserole
  • In a large mixing bowl, combine the cooked pasta, the beef and tomato mixture, and 1 cup of shredded cheese. Stir until well combined.
  • Pour the mixture into the prepared baking dish and spread it out evenly.
  • 6. Add the Topping
  • Sprinkle the remaining 1 cup of shredded cheese evenly over the top of the casserole.
  • 7. Bake
  • Bake in the preheated oven for 20-25 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and bubbly.
  • 8. Serve
  • Garnish with fresh parsley and serve warm.
