Instructions
1. Prepare the Chicken
- Season the chicken breasts with salt, pepper, garlic powder, and onion powder on both sides.
- Heat the olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat.
2. Cook the Chicken
- Add the seasoned chicken breasts to the skillet and cook for about 5-7 minutes per side, or until golden brown and cooked through. Remove the chicken from the skillet and set aside.
3. Make the Garlic Butter Sauce
- In the same skillet, melt the butter over medium heat.
- Add the minced garlic and sauté for 1-2 minutes until fragrant, being careful not to let the garlic burn.
4. Add the Cream and Parmesan
- Stir in the heavy cream and bring it to a simmer. Let it cook for about 2-3 minutes, stirring occasionally, until it begins to thicken.
- Stir in the grated Parmesan cheese and Italian seasoning. Continue to cook until the sauce is thick and creamy.
5. Combine and Serve
- Return the cooked chicken breasts to the skillet, spooning the creamy garlic butter sauce over the top.
- Let the chicken simmer in the sauce for a few minutes to absorb the flavors.
- Garnish with fresh parsley and serve hot.
