One method to eliminate all types of insects, from flies to mosquitoes that will quickly go away.
The word insect alarms everyone, there are so many in the world and each with different characteristics. The repellents that are on the market today are in spray form, rich in chemical agents and preservatives that can pollute and – at the same time – be bad for your health. Grandma’s advice always leads to a solution for every type of problem, with something natural that you put in the kitchen and keeps flies, mosquitoes and any type of insect that tries to get in.
Insect, what is it attracted to in your home?
Every insect on Earth has different characteristics, but everyone is attracted to something in particular that is inside homes. Mosquitoes seek blood for food, while flies and other insects seek easy food and then lay their eggs in various corners of the house.
They are fond of sweets, sugars and even fermented substances up to syrups. However, they don’t pull bread crumbs or small pieces of food off the tablecloth or dirty dishes inside the sink.
The best way to encounter their arrival is to keep a clean house, don’t leave any food residue around and close packages. For mosquitoes it is more difficult, but in any case the advice is to use only natural repellents.
Respecting nature and not spending money, homemade repellents with natural ingredients are excellent for removing insects so they can never return. You play with a mixture of smells and flavors, which they do not like, so they do not think to deposit eggs in the kitchen or in other domestic environments.
Natural repellent to keep insects away, from flies to mosquitoes
As mentioned, it is best to use grandmother’s methods with cheap and non-polluting natural ingredients. In this case, we use rice vinegar, an excellent product that thwarts the arrival of insects in the house (and in every season of the year).
To prepare this repellent, simply cut a plastic bottle on top and then turn it upside down to create a kind of funnel. Immediately afterwards pour a spoonful of rice vinegar inside.
To enhance its repellent effect, it’s best to also pour in a measuring cup of dishwashing liquid and then mix until you get a homogeneous substance. The smell that emerges is pleasant for humans, while for any type of insect it is almost unbearable and unpleasant.
Flies and mosquitoes will disappear and never be seen again. As an alternative to rice vinegar, you can opt for white wine vinegar, which is also characterized by a pungent and acidic smell.
One recommendation: keep the container in a safe place, away from the curiosity of children and four-legged friends.
